Roasted
Trying some new coffee beans from a small local roasters in Wicklow, Never a Days Trouble.
They’ve been a guest blend in one of my favourite local coffee shops The Good Life and I’d been struggling at home to get a good espresso shot from the last set of beans from Cloud Picker (definitely my fault and not the beans). A change is as good as a rest so I took the plunge on Never a Days Trouble, opting for their Brazilian beans, Fazenda Lagoa, with a Caramel, Orange, Clean, and Well balanced flavour profile (yum).
Bought the beans online and they arrived really quickly. Most importantly they had only been roasted the previous week, so I was really looking forward to trying these beans out. The grind setting from my previous beans was luckily pretty close to what these beans needed (I have a Sage Barista Pro) and the first shot was a little over extracted. Despite this it was delicious.
I’m still refining the grind, but the coffee is beautiful from these beans and (I’m no taste expert), but it does seem to fit the flavour profile extremely well.
I love the packaging and overall feel that they have gone for with their brand. So far, so impressed with Never a Days Trouble.
